Learning Outcomes

Participants will be able to:

*learn about stages of problem solving skill development from infants to school age

*learn development of complex thinking skills which are required to enable problem solving skills that can lead to conflict resolution skills

*learn about he 6 steps of conflict resolution and how it can be applied in many different context in a child care classroom

*learn how to create children who will become accountable for their behavior, able to think for themselves and empower them in their own confidence in solving their own problems.

This workshop explores how young children as young as infants start their learning about the world of number and math.

We will be exploring the foundational skills that we help children develop through play materials and language in their world of play.

Exploration with specific illustrations of play-based activities will be shown to bring awareness of the different areas that encompass learning number and math literacy based on developmental abilities and brain development.
