Course Description

This course will look at how toxicity can develop in a workplace, what toxicity looks like in behavior and leadership, ways to prevent and change the toxic work culture in a child care workplace setting. We will look at communication skills, conflict resolution skills and finding solutions to barriers  to a healthy workplace.

Participants will be able to

• Understanding the importance of Team building skills and its relation to maintaining a Healthy Work Culture
• Learning different team building exercises
• What creates a toxic work environment and how can we prevent this?
• Engaging and developing connections with people on our team with different personalities, cultures, languages, beliefs and values
• Conflict resolution skills and Communication skills that lead to a Healthy Workplace Culture
